在录制《I Talk To The Trees》时，Chet Baker与弦乐团合作得格外默契。

[00:00.29]I talk to the trees

[00:10.15]But they don't listen to me

[00:14.33]I talk to the stars

[00:16.60]But they never hear me

[00:19.82]The breeze hasn't time

[00:21.12]To stop and hear what I say

[00:25.10]I talk to them all in vain

[00:26.10]But suddenly my words

[01:11.64]Reach someone else's ear

[01:18.72]At someone else's heart strings too

[01:25.96]I tell you my dreams

[01:29.59]And while you're listening to me

[01:38.59]I suddenly see them come true

[01:44.17]I can see us some April night

[01:53.00]Looking out across a rollin' farm

[02:42.59]Having supper in the candlelight

[02:51.86]Walking later

[02:59.22]Arm in arm

[03:21.38]Then I'll tell you how I pass the day

[03:40.61]Thinking mainly how the night would be

[03:57.66]Then I'll try to find the words to say

[04:09.87]All the things you mean to me

[04:20.19]I tell you my dreams

[04:23.87]And while you're listening to me

[05:14.98]I suddenly see them come true
